About this event
On the second Saturday in December, Sant Llorenç de Balàfia is filled with food stalls that pay tribute to the pig and, in particular, to its slaughter, a deep-rooted tradition on Ibiza that lives on in many families, who get together on this day and make the island's typical sausages, such as sobrassada and butifarró. During the day, you can sample dishes featuring pork as the star ingredient, as well as watch an exhibition of traditional dancing, enjoy live music and children's entertainment and learn about the special features of Ibizan craftwork.
