Sant Joan de Labritja
Balàfia PR-EI-107 walk
A pleasant walk through the countryside including a picnic area and a unique village.
This circular walk through the north of the island, which is suitable for children, features pine forests, traditional architecture and fields of crops and fruit trees. With a total length of 14.95 km, the walk runs mainly along country roads between Sant Llorenç and Sant Miquel, the village where the walk begins, with an uphill slope of almost 229 m on the first part of the walk.
Once you reach Sant Llorenç, you can visit its church, the Environmental Interpretation Centre of Es Amunts - the mountainous region that stretches across the northwest of the island - and the nearby village of Balàfia, one of the most unique examples of traditional architecture on the island. And to recharge your batteries for the return trip, you will find the Can Pere Musson recreation area, a public estate with picnic areas.
