Hiking Route 6: Siesta – Nature between river, countryside, and coast

This medium-difficulty circular route, covering a distance of 9.4 kilometres, invites you to explore some of the most varied landscapes in the Santa Eulària des Riu area, combining river, forest and sea in a unique experience.

The route starts in the town centre of Santa Eulària, crossing the only river in the Balearics to enter the quiet residential area of Siesta. From there, it gently climbs along interior paths, circling Puig de Can Fita, a hill covered in Mediterranean vegetation, perfect for breathing fresh air and escaping the hustle and bustle.

The return follows the coast to reach Caló de s’Alga, a small hidden cove ideal for a break, before returning to the starting point.
A varied route, highly recommended for families with children over 12 who enjoy active hiking.
