Santa Eulària des Riu
River Walk
A straightforward yet interesting self-guided urban walk in search of the mouth of the only river in the Balearic Islands
Any season of the year is a good time to follow the R13 trail, also known as the River Walk, a simple walk suitable for all ages. This self-guided circular walk starts in front of the Santa Eulària town hall and heads towards the last stretch of the river on a trail that will take you to 19 places of interest in Santa Eulària. As you stroll along at your own pace, you will also come across one of the most peculiar characters in Ibizan mythology, the fameliar, a gluttonous goblin who will be waiting for you at the information panels to share curiosities and legends with you. Mills, wells, vegetable gardens, orchards and bridges are some of the features of this urban trail that includes stops at the Can Planetes Interpretation Centre, the Ibiza Ethnographic Museum and Puig de Missa with its church.
