Es Caló de s’Illa walk / Trail PR-EI-104

A circular walk starting in Cala Xarraca for lovers of unspoilt landscapes and silence. This walk follows the north coast and the protected natural environment of Es Amunts, revealing hidden coves among the cliffs, such as Es Caló de s'Illa. The return section runs along inland paths and is distinguished by its steepness as you have to climb to the top of Sa Talaia de Sant Joan. If you want to extend the walk, you can leave the trail to take the 700-metre detour to Cala Benirràs, where you can recharge your batteries. The Es Caló de s'Illa walk, with a cumulative uphill gradient of 481 m, is not recommended for families with small children or those who are not used to mountain hiking. It can also be done by mountain bike.
