Madina Yabisa Interpretation Centre
The exhibition that reveals the Moorish Ibiza hidden in Dalt Vila
You will not look at the streets of Dalt Vila in the same way after visiting this modern interpretation centre about the ancient Madina Yabisa, as the Arabs called Ibiza during the period of Moorish rule. Thanks to a detailed model and audiovisual technology, where you once only saw a medieval mansion when wandering the streets, you will be able to distinguish some of the few defensive towers that still remain in the intramural layout, and you will even be able to locate the ancient al-mudayna, the suburbs and a few surviving sections of the walls built by the Moorish population. The view of Moorish Ibiza presented in this small interpretation centre is complemented by various other exhibition elements with audiovisual technology.
