Es Pouet

At the end of the promenade of Sant Antoni, a stone's throw from Sa Punta des Molí, the urban beach of Es Pouet offers safe children's bathing with a finishing touch: its views of the sunset. A particularly attractive option if you are staying at one of the nearby hotels and don't feel like going on an outing. Being in the bay of Portmany, it has calm waters and is particularly shallow shelving (you will have to walk quite a way to get out of your depth), making it ideal for families with small children. It offers a wide range of restaurants and the possibility of enjoying a variety of water sports. A curious fact: its name, Es Pouet, means "the little well", due to the freshwater well that is preserved on the right-hand side of the beach.
