Es Canar

Everything that families with children could wish for on a charming urban beach with a wide range of water sports on offer

This beautiful stretch of coastline overlooking the islet of Es Canar is one of the most family-friendly beaches on Ibiza, that will evoke fond memories in those who have visited the island in their childhood and are now returning as parents. Located in the quiet holiday resort of the same name, you will find it particularly appealing if you are looking for a gently shelving seabed, crystal-clear waters, restaurants, bars, shops and the chance to enjoy sailing, water-skiing, jet-skiing and parasailing. Next to the beach, you will find a pine grove, a small funfair and a hiking trail that sets out from the northern end and links Es Canar with two other beaches: Cala Nova and Cala Llenya. And if you fancy a boat trip, there is a jetty next to the beach from which boats leave for Santa Eulària, Cala Llonga, Ibiza and Formentera in the summertime.
